Order/Shop FAQ:
Q: Do you ship to my country?
A: I ship everywhere that the USPS offers international shipping to.
Q: when will I get my tracking information/ when will my order be sent out?
A: As I am a one person operation it occasionally takes me up to half a week to get a package sent out, though this depends on order volume. As for tracking information you will receive it a few hours before your package is delivered to the USPS. If you entered in your email incorrectly you will not receive an order confirmation or tracking information. If this is the case please email me with your correct email.
Q: Can I request edits to pieces on the shop?
A: I may be willing to make small edits within reason, though these may cause some delay in getting a piece sent out and/or an increase in price for the piece. I will not make any edits after an order is placed so please contact me beforehand.
Q: Why don’t you have any gold pieces on your shop? / Can you make X piece in gold?
A: I can make almost any of my pieces out of gold. However due to my personal beliefs surrounding the work I do I only work in solid materials, not plated. Due to this, as well as gold being over $5,000 per ounce, any work in gold will be priced accordingly.
Q: Will X piece be restocked?
A: If a piece is listed as sold out on my shop, it is likely that it will be restocked or at the very least put on pre order. If it is no longer listed at all then it likely will not be. Item restocks are announced first on Instagram and second to my email subscribers (see bottom of page)
Commission FAQ:
Q: When will commissions be open?
A: Due to the current work load of producing production items I will not be able to open commissions often. I will not respond to any commission requests sent to me while commissions are closed, please be patient they will open again I simply don’t know when I will have time. commission openings will be announced first on Instagram and second to my email subscribers (see bottom of page)
Q: How much does commissioning you cost?
A: I have no standard of pricing for commissions, however unfortunately with silver and gold prices as high as they are I cannot make any one of a kind or custom work for under $400. After finalizing a design I will give you a low and high estimate of the final price, and before I begin ordering materials and working on the piece I will need a 50% down payment of the lower estimate.
Q: What sort of commissions do you take?
A: Since I have limited time, and because commissions are not a major part of my business, I will generally only take commissions that align with the styles and themes that I already incorporate into my work. I especially will not re create the work of other jewelers or brands.
Q: How long will my commission take?
A: This is extremely dependent on the time of year and your personal timeline. This being said, if you are commissioning me with a deadline less than four months I may have to charge a rush order fee. Please have a deadline when you contact me, if you do not your piece will be superseded by any commission that has one. Any custom orders placed during or after September will not be finished until the new year unless the rush fee is paid.
Work FAQ:
Q: What metal is your work made from?
A: All of the metal I use, unless specified otherwise, is nickel free 925 sterling silver. This means that it is 92.5% silver and 7.5% copper. The copper is added to strengthen the otherwise very soft silver, it is still not as durable as mid to low karat gold however it is much more durable than pure silver.
Q: Is your jewelry hypoallergenic?
A: It is very unlikely that you will have any allergic reaction to my jewelry. While silver allergies are possible they are quite rare. The most common metal allergy is an allergy to nickel which is often used in cheap silver colored jewelry. Sterling silver has been used as one of the most common metals for jewelry for hundreds of years.
Q: Will my jewelry tarnish?
A: Yes. Tarnish is an oxide layer that forms on the surface of silver. It is not possible to fully prevent this but with proper care it can be minimized and cleaned. For cleaning there are many silver polishes available online or at kitchen supply stores. I however prefer the look of jewelry that has tarnished in deep spots but worn away in raised areas from wear.
Q: How should I care for my jewelry?
A: Firstly I would recommend against sleeping in any jewelry including mine (aside from piercings that must be left in of course, though I do not make those at this time) as it can be potentially dangerous to you as well as unnecessarily stressing on the jewelry. Secondly I would not recommend wearing my jewelry while doing heavy manual labor where it could easily get caught and damaged. Thirdly, while sterling can get wet and be fine, it is important to properly dry any jewelry after it gets wet. I would also recommend against wearing any jewelry in chlorinated pools.
